What I Ate Wednesday 

It’s been a really long time since I’ve made one of these posts! The reason is that I literally eat the same thing every day when I’m at school. My lunch is always a pita with peanut butter and honey, a green salad, and a Luna bar, followed by an apple for a snack later. I will make a post next week showing a whole day of weekday eats. This week I stayed home on Tuesday because I was feeling a little under the weather, and I had a doctors appointment so I decided to document all of my food since it was a little more interesting than a school day. 

For breakfast I had oatmeal with peanut butter and craisins and didn’t take a pic. Then some coffee and kitty cuddling.  

For lunch there weren’t many options in the fridge so I made scrambled eggs with salsa, toast, and fruit salad.  

 I was still hungry so I had a Luna bar. I think I’m addicted! 

Later I had a yogurt. 


Jim made a quick dinner- chicken, veggies, rice, and one leftover coconut shrimp with soda water to drink. 

Jim had a potluck at work so he was baking cookies. I couldn’t resist, and had maybe even a few more than this picture shows 😉 along with skim milk.

What I Ate Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone! Here is everything I ate yesterday. It is a bit random, as I started back at work. Also, I’ve been feeling extremely full and having some tummy issues lately, so I’m trying to eat small amounts more often throughout the day.

I couldn’t resist this pumpkin oatmeal at the store! It is good and I added some cinnamon on top! But I am going to make my own, healthier version soon. 

    A half a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

We were out of groceries so I had an oj to get in some fruit.

A tomato from our yard… Something about home grown tomatoes is so much better and different than tomatoes from the store.

My friend gave me these and I can’t stop eating them! They are so so good!

  Because we were out of groceries we went to the store to replenish our stock. Since it was dinner time, we just got some to go options there. Salad bar!

What I Ate Wednesday

Here is everything I ate yesterday! Some healthy, some not so healthy. It’s all about moderation!

Breakfast- Kashi Heart to Heart cereal with blueberries

Snack- honey roasted nuts-so good!! 
Lunch- spinach and tomato salad, and two quesadillas with cheddar cheese, and tortilla chips with salsa 
  Snack- unpictured watermelon
Dinner- we went to the Cubs game and I scarfed down a hot dog before remembering to take a picture. There was a crazy storm and the rain delay was so long that we ended up leaving. When I got home I had a little ice cream- I just had to get all my calcium 😉 but again forgot to take a picture. Next week I am going to definitely be better about taking pictures of all of my food!

What I Ate Wednesday-vacation style! 

Hello from Cape Cod! I have been enjoying every minute of vacation so far. It is so beautiful and relaxing here! Here are my vacation meals from yesterday. I’m linking up with  Peasandcrayons.com

Yesterday we were going to spend the day in Nantucket! Before the ferry, we stopped at a little local spot for breakfast. I had scrambled eggs, potatoes, and cinnamon toast. Plus coffee!   
Nantucket was so gorgeous and has such a cool vibe! The town was crowded with stores and restaurants. I definitely want to go back and spend more time there! We ate lunch at the White Elephant’s Brant Point Grill. Brant Point Grill I totally failed on taking pictures but had a crab cake and a tomato and Parmesan salad. Both were very good! 

After spending the rest of the day on Nantucket we were totally pooped so decided to just make something easy at home. We made burgers topped with carmelized onions, cheddar cheese, and tomato, corn on the cob, and caprese salad.  


Ready for another day on the Cape!

Breakfast- 2 eggs with cheese, and a multigrain English muffin

Snack- watermelon! Can’t get enough!!

Lunch- leftovers from our dinner at RPM Italian. I had pappardele bolonese and the noodles were homemade. Homemade noodles make a huge difference in taste! So delicious! I also had a salad with feta and olive oil.

My leftovers were pretty small so I had a snack in the afternoon- cut up veggies, hummus, and pretzel chips.

Since we are leaving on Friday for vacation we are using up what is in the kitchen. So for dinner I had couscous with feta, an unpictured chopped up tomato, and MORE wedding cake. I can’t stop! Thankfully I froze the rest to save myself from a sugar coma :)

What I Ate Wednesday

This is my second WIAW post! Here are all of my eats from yesterday (Tuesday). I didn’t change anything about the way I ate… Just a normal day!  I am linking up http://peasandcrayons.com/ to join in the fun of WIAW!
For breakfast I made eggs with cheese and half a bagel. The bagel got super burnt! After taking one bite I decided to toss it and make the other half.

I had some cherries as a morning snack.

We have tons of leftovers from having so many people over, so for lunch I went with a small piece of Lou Malnati’s cheese deep dish. The best!!!

To make my lunch a little healthier I had half of a sliced cucumber.

My afternoon snack was crackers with peanut butter. I typically try to always have a fruit or veggie with, or as my snack but needed to go to the grocery store so is made do with this!

I didn’t go to the grocery store until I was STARVING- always a mistake! I grabbed a sushi roll for dinner because I was too hungry to make anything.

 I also had a salad with arugula, spinach, tomatoes, and olive oil.

For dessert I had a nestle yogurt bar. This was a peach one. So delicious! I may or may not have gone back for a second one 😉 Nestlé outshine
